Dua Lipa just took India by a storm during her concert in Mumbai on Saturday. The singer, known for hits like Don’t Start Now and One Kiss, performed the viral mashup of her song Levitating and Woh Ladki Jo from Shah Rukh Khan’s Badshah. It resulted in the crowd erupting. Now, the creator of the viral mashup, Ruchir Kulkarni, has reacted to it.
Ruchir Kulkarni, who is a DJ, had been sharing his excitement about Dua Lipa’s concert. But, with the singer performing the mashup, much to the surprise of the crowd, Kulkarni is once again in the spotlight. Reacting to it, the DJ wrote on his Instagram Story, “Dua Lipa performing on my mashup is the greatest achievement of my life.” Here is the post:
DJ Ruchir Kulkarni reacts to Dua Lipa’s Levitating X Woh Ladki Jo performance.
He had earlier shared that he would have been disappointed if Dua Lipa would not play ‘Ha Yaha Kadam Kadam Par’ in the middle of her Levitating performance in Mumbai. Looks like Ruchir Kulkarni has actually manifested this, along with other Indians who had been waiting for the moment.
Earlier, in an interview with Times Of India, Dua Lipa also spoke about the viral mashup. She said, “I was blown away when I first heard the mashup of Woh Ladki Jo and Levitating. It was amazing!”
The mashup has over 20 million views on YouTube alone.
This was Dua’s second performance in India, her first being at the OnePlus Music Festival in Navi Mumbai back in 2019. The singer also ushered the year 2024 in India, with a trip to Rajasthan.
